Achievement can be drawn parallel to the
things which you are ready to surrender. For that you need to immolate your
desires and comforts. No, you don’t need to possess something to sacrifice; but
yes, you will be having a hard time to adhere to the changes in those things
which in your daily life is just a routine. If
you are willing to achieve something you have never achieved before, then you
have to work the way you have never worked before.
What are the major problems? Most of us say “Man Nahi Krta”, “Par
nhi Paata”, “Mushkil hai”… Well those people carry on their shoulders a strong
reason, which they don’t even know. And then comes the Mighty into picture -
Our Subconscious mind! We
can never get a total hold onto our subconscious mind, what it thinks and how
does it affects our thinking and determination. Things we did, things we are doing
and things we plan to do affects our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind is not able to
distinguish between what is good for our target and what is not. We made
beliefs that we are not good depending upon many minor and major incidents of
our past and those beliefs feed on our brains. This is the core reason.
Whatever we recite to ourselves consumes our mind. Our subconscious mind is like a
Mighty Warrior and our Conscious mind like a King. Whatever king orders,
knowingly or unknowingly, the Mighty warrior makes it so. Mighty warrior
doesn’t has mind of its own. It only executes orders. So if you say you are tenuous then
mighty warrior enervate you and ensures that you remain weak. To achieve
something you have never achieved before, you need to think like you have never
thought before. And when our minds are clear of obstacles, Motivation evolves.
So what do we have to do? Stand on a single feet? Doing
Shirshasan? No not really… We have to do much simpler things. Simple but not easy! Our motive is to clear subconscious
mind of all the confusions which we are not aware of consciously.
Major problems are Cell
phones, Virtual social networks, Promises, and Temporary desires.
You care much about if anybody called you, you care about
Facebook, you care about Parties, you live for others… You make yourself
dependent upon outer confirmations. Somebody
didn’t call you for a week you get sad, no SMS you get sad, no FB notification
or any message reply you get sad, In Whatsapp/BBM someone left without
replying your message you get sad. And ultimately you are giving indication to
your subconscious mind that you are worthless. It’s time to get a break. What?
Yes! Steps need to be taken. Get cut off from Facebook, deactivate or delete
your account; not getting updates of breakups and makeups would not make a big
deal, but on a positive note, you would be getting rid of all those hopeless
people’s pessimistic status updates. Oh I have to attend that Birthday day
party, or he/she may not talk to me. Really? The one who just can’t understand
that you have exams coming so you cannot come doesn’t deserve to be your bud
anyway. So if someone calls you asking “Hey want to come up for a party over
here.” You can clearly say “No” and tell
them not to goad you to come. Last time I remember, someone called me and I
said “Bro, I will be free later, you can call me after March 2014!” No
Facebook, No calls, No messages, No emails, No Whatsapp, No Parties…
Don’t make any promises. Your temporary desires of getting short-lived
fame, playing video games, watching TV, surfing internet would bring no good.
Main motive is to get cut from the world. For updates and
refreshing yourself, 30-60 minutes a day, as per need, won’t harm.
And when you know what you want and how bad you want it, success
will come and you will pat
yourself on the back for the decisions you took in the past. Our mind is
our Ultimate power having immeasurable potential. It entirely depends upon us how
frequently we feed Ambrosia to our mind.
As Eric Thomas said – “If you want to succeed as bad as you
want to breathe, then you will be successful”
Good Luck!
